On June 11, 2021 Scott Miller Projects will open its doors to the public. The gallery is located at 2212 Morris Avenue, Suite 130, in the central plaza of the newly renovated Mercantile on Morris building. Due to its proximity to the railroad, Morris Avenue was one of the city’s earliest principal wholesale trade district. Named after one of the early shareholders in the Elyton Land Company and original founders of the city of Birmingham, Josiah Morris, Morris Avenue became one of the city’s most iconic streets. With its cobble stone pavers and historic businesses such as The Alabama Peanut Co., visitors will now have a new destination the Mercantile on Morris.
