For close to 30 years, Scott Miller has been immersed in the art world, from building his own collection, to arranging art-related travel for collectors and students, to helping place works in both private and public collections worldwide. In 2021, he opened Scott Miller Projects, a gallery space specializing in contemporary art from regional, national, and international artists. Scott Miller Projects features artists whose careers span from emerging to those with decades of experience. Alongside artistic excellence, diversity in background, medium, experience, and identity stands at the forefront of the gallery’s presentations. Past exhibitions have included Deborah Brown, Zaam Arif, Mie Yim, Roscoe Hall, Paul Kremer, Rico Gatson, Thornton Willis, Jason Stopa, Cecilia Vissers, Cruz Ortiz, Kysa Johnson, Matt Phillips, Jemima Murphy, Delrico Gibson, and many others.

In Spring 2025, the Birmingham, Alabama location will be joined by a second gallery space opening in Bentonville, Arkansas.
